NFL Power Rankings Week 3: Seahawks, Bengals and Bills lead the Pack

Week two was a week full of upsets and sloppy football. Friendly reminder for everyone to not overreact to what happens in the first couple of weeks! We had three teams that started 0-2 last season and still made the playoffs. Where does your favorite team land? Scroll down and find out in the 2026 NFL Power Rankings: Week 3!

1. Seattle Seahawks (2-0, Last Week: 1st) 

Result: W vs Cardinals 31-7

Dominant all-around win. The defense was amazing, allowing only 151 total yards – including 95 passing yards. JSN had 155 yards and scored three TD’s on nine catches. Man’s a beast.

2. Buffalo Bills (2-0, Last Week: 2nd)

Result: W vs Lions 41-31

Josh Allen dropped five total touchdowns on a porous Lions defense. James Cook running for 135 yards made Allen’s life easier. This offense will be tough to stop. Hopefully DJ Moore is ok.

3. Los Angeles Rams (1-1, Last Week: 4th)

Result: W vs Giants 28-6

After a very poor showing in week one, the Rams bounced back in a big way. Stafford threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns. L.A. ran for 163 yards as a team. Adams had nearly 200 yards without Puka in the lineup. The defense was dominant. Welcome back Aaron Donald!

4. Cincinnati Bengals (2-0, Last Week: 5th)

Result: W vs Texans 20-6

The defense again was the bright spot in this win. The offense wasn’t great – giving up five sacks, and getting as many first downs as penalties (12) – but that didn’t matter. As long as Burrow stays healthy, this team will be a contender.

5. Philadelphia Eagles (2-0, Last Week: 3rd)

Result: W vs Titans 24-20

Another hideous win. Philly is lucky they played one of the worst teams in the league. I know Barkley got hurt early, but averaging 2.8 yards per carry as a team is pathetic.

6. Denver Broncos (1-1, Last Week: 6th)

Result: W vs Jaguars 20-13

After starting the season with a whimper, the passing game showed up. The defense shut down Trevor Lawrence (173 passing yards). The running game is a concern.

7. New England Patriots (1-1, Last Week: 8th)

Result: W vs Steelers 20-3

Drake Maye’s struggles continue to start the season. The defense was awesome, and carried New England to the win. Henderson flashed, rushing for 76 yards and scoring his first touchdown of the season.

8. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0, Last Week: 13th)

Result: W vs Colts 33-30 (OT)

Mahomes was as good as ever in this game. Kelce looked 5 years younger. Kenneth Walker had another big game. I have confidence that Spags will get the defense right come playoff time.

9. San Francisco 49ers (2-0, Last Week: 14th)

Result: W vs Dolphins 35-13

On a day where CMC was held to just 23 rushing yards and 43 receiving yards, Brock Purdy carried the offense. He had just two incompletions, led the team in rushing, and accounted for three touchdowns.

10. Detroit Lions (1-1, Last Week: 9th)

Result: L vs Bills 41-31

Elite offense, possibly the worst defense in the NFL right now. The team can’t expect the offense to drop 30-40 points per game. At this point, I don’t know if getting back Branch and Joseph will even matter.

11. Dallas Cowboys (1-1, Last Week: 12th)

Result: W vs Commanders 37-20

Dak’s out here setting records on division rivals. He threw his 249th career touchdown pass, moving past Tony Romo for the franchise lead. Prescott was on fire a week after looking average AF, throwing four TD passes.

12. Houston Texans (0-2, Last Week: 7th)

Result: L vs Bengals 20-6

The Texans’ rushing attack was held to just 60 total yards, and the team went 0 for 4 on fourth down. Stroud throwing for 353 yards is great, but ya gotta get the team into the endzone. Not a good start for Houston.

13. Baltimore Ravens (1-1, Last Week: 10th)

Result: L vs Saints 24-17

For most of the game, Baltimore led. Then the defense allowed 15 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, and the offense fizzled out. Why did they stop giving Henry the rock in the 2nd half?

14. Green Bay Packers (1-1, Last Week: 16th)

Result: W vs Jets 20-17 (OT)

This was a hideous game. Love was not very good, and he got no help from the rushing attack. Three ‘backs combined for 63 rushing yards. Jayden Reed was carted off the field with a neck injury. Hopefully he is ok.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1, Last Week: 18th)

Result: L vs Broncos 20-13

Washington had a good game, and Tuten scored a TD, but there was nothing else of note offensively. Jacksonville allowed 17 unanswered points in the second half. Tough loss against what many expect to be one of the better teams in the AFC.

16. Minnesota Vikings (2-0, Last Week: 20th)

Result: W vs Bears 9-3

The Vikings defense blitzed relentlessly against the Bears. The result was four sacks, two takeaways, and three points allowed. Will the return of Kyler Murray give the passing game a boost?

17. New Orleans Saints (1-1, Last Week: 22nd)

Result: W vs Ravens 24-17

Last week, this team almost came back on the Lions. This week, Shough contributed two TD’s late in the fourth quarter to give the Saints the dub. They gotta do better than 65 rushing yards as a team.

18. Los Angeles Chargers (0-2, Last Week: 11th)

Result: L vs Raiders 26-14

SIX fumbles as a team (only lost one, though), three turnovers, and dumb penalties killed the Chargers. Herbert has been atrocious through two games. Good luck in Buffalo next week.

19. Chicago Bears (1-1, Last Week: 15th)

Result: L vs Vikings 9-3

The Stinker of the week. The offense just couldn’t get going against a tough Vikings defense. Swift managed just 2.8 yards per carry and lost a fumble. Caleb Williams was on the Struggle Bus all afternoon, then went down with a no contact hamstring injury late in the game.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-2, Last Week: 17th)

Result: L vs Browns 23-19

This team looks mighty average. They had a shot to win it at the end, but Baker’s pass fell incomplete. This is now back to back losses against two below average teams.

21. Indianapolis Colts (0-2, Last Week: 24th)

Result: L vs Chiefs 33-30 (OT)

This was an uneven game for Indy. The defense wasn’t good, and the offense was out-gained by almost 200 yards, but the Colts kept pace with the Chiefs all way down to the last second of overtime.

22. Carolina Panthers (1-1, Last Week: 25th)

Result: W vs Falcons 34-3

Carolina led 10-0 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The defense held Atlanta to 145 passing yards and forced five turnovers – all by quarterbacks. Devin Lloyd had a DAY.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1, Last Week: 21st)

Result: L vs Patriots 20-3

A-a-ron just looks old, ineffective, and slow. At this rate, we might see Drew Aller or Will Howard sooner than later. The offense struggled as a whole, however, so it isn’t all on Rodgers.

24. New York Giants (1-1, Last Week: 19th)

Result: L vs Rams 28-6

Dart got hurt on their first drive, and it was all downhill from there. Saying Winston (completed 40% of his passes and threw an interception) was ass is offensive to actual butts. The defense let the Rams offense do whatever they wanted. If Dart misses extensive time, this team is in trouble.

25. Las Vegas Raiders (2-0, Last Week: 29th)

Result: W vs Chargers 26-14

Vegas wasn’t good; they were just lucky the Chargers gave the game away. Gotta give the Raiders defense some love for causing so much chaos.

26. New York Jets (1-1, Last Week: 26th)

Result: L vs Packers 20-17 (OT)

Gang Green had a 10 point lead in the 4th with under 11 minutes left. They had a chance to win it in overtime, but let this one get away. This is what bad teams do.

27. Washington Commanders (0-2, Last Week: 23rd)

Result: L vs Cowboys 37-20

Here we go again. Jayden Daniels went down with a horrific looking elbow injury on the last play of the first half. The same injury that cost him most of last season. He’s going to miss some time, and this team’s hopes just went down with him.

28. Cleveland Browns (1-1, Last Week: 31st)

Result: W vs Buccaneers 23-19

Kudos to the Browns for winning through weather related adversity. Watson completed 80% of his passes for 238 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also led the team in rushing! This quiets the calls for a QB change for a week.

29. Arizona Cardinals (1-1, Last Week: 28th)

Result: L vs Seahawks 31-7

The team will want to forget about this one. Brissett was held to just 95 yards passing, Love averaged 3.2 yards per carry, and the offense was just three for twelve on third down.

30. Atlanta Falcons (0-2, Last Week: 27th)

Result: L vs Panthers 34-3

Atlanta, your passing game…woof! The “good” news is that Michael Penix will start this week. The bad news is that the Falcons play on Thursday night. Atlanta is just wasting prime Bijan, London, and Pitts.

31. Tennessee Titans (0-2, Last Week: 30th)

Result: L vs Eagles 24-20

The defense kept Tennessee in the game, sacking Hurts three times and picking him off twice. This team won’t improve, however, unless the passing game shows up.

32. Miami Dolphins (0-2, Last Week: 32nd)

Result: L vs 49ers 35-13

Yuck. Defense was turrible, failing to contain the passing game at all. Purdy looked like Tom Brady out there. When is the 2027 NFL Draft, again?
