Top 10

The Philadelphia Eagles are the best team in the NFL, and I feel like many people have no idea how good they are. The rest of the NFL is a cluster, and the AFC is the Bengals, Chiefs, and Bills. Surprise teams like the Lions, Vikings etc… have added intrigue to this season. Let’s now look at the top 10 teams as we head down the home stretch to what has been a crazy season and may be about to become even crazier.

10) Detroit Lions

After a 1-6 start, the Lions are as hot as any team in the NFL and have won five of their last six games. That one loss was to the Buffalo Bills the Lions should have won. 9) Miami Dolphins

Just imagine if the Dolphins had selected Justin Herbert instead of Tua. The Dolphins’ secondary and overall defensive scheme are not very good, but the offense has weapons all over the place; but I am sorry, with Tua at quarterback, they are a one-and-done come playoff time.

8) Los Angeles Chargers

If the Chargers get healthy, come playoff time, they will be a very dangerous team to play. They were stuck playing a ton of backups on defense against the Dolphins and still won. The Chargers schedule means they have an excellent shot at making the playoffs.

7) Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens may go into next weekend with third-string Quarterback Anthony Brown at the helm. The defense is good, but the lack of offensive playmakers means this team is more of a pretender than a contender.

6) Dallas Cowboys

Sure they struggled and almost lost to the worst team in the NFL, but they won and in the end, that is all that matters this time of the year. Cowboys teams of the past would have lost this game.

5) Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs can score points, but the defense is struggling. You know your struggling when you allow the Denver Broncos’ anaemic offense to put up close to thirty points. The Chiefs are ranked lower than the Bengals and Bills because of their defense. Check out the top football odds.

4) Buffalo Bills

The Bills are on track to be the number one seed in the AFC, but as of late, Josh Allen and the Bills’ offense has struggled. The defense played well in the Jets’ win, but to get to the Super Bowl Josh Allen and the Bills offense must play better.

3) San Francisco 49ers

The Niners lost Deeno Samuel in the first half and third-string quarterback Brock Purdy still exploited a Tampa Bay defense that has been struggling as of late. If Purdy is as good as he looks, the Niners look like a serious Super Bowl contender.

2) Cincinnati Bengals

Has a defending conference champion ever got less respect than the Bengals? They lost Tee Higgins and Tyler Boud early on, and Joe Burrow still spread the ball around to eight different receivers in a 23-10 win over the Cleveland Browns. Overcoming multiple major injuries will test the depth of the Bengals on both sides of the ball.

After losing the Commanders in an upset a few weeks back, the Eagles are back to their dominating ways, backed up by the unwavering situational defense. Jalen Hurts, the MVP favorite,  looks like a strong Super Bowl favorite from the NFC.
