7 Grueling Truth’s we learned during week 12 of the 2022 NFL season

What did we learn

Week 12 was another week full of surprises as Mike White looked great for the Jets, Sam Darnold got it done in Carolina, and the Raiders Josh Jacobs gashed the Seahawks in an overtime win for the Raiders. Overall it was a great week of NFL action and as things he up you will want to know all of the top football betting strategies.

1) The 49ers defense is dominant

Shut out our hard-to-come-by in the NFL and the 49ers just did that on Sunday in a 13-0 win over the lost New Orleans Saints. The 49ers’ defense was dominant, and the offense was good enough as the Niners’ running game is being hampered by injuries. Every time the Saints threatened to put up points, the defense responded and allowed the Saints just 260 yards for the entire game.

2) The Bengals’ defense is why they are a Super Bowl threat

The Bengals offense is the story when they are healthy, but this team is a threat to make a deep run again in the playoffs because of the defense. The Bengals’ defense shut down Titans running back Derrick Henry on Sunday, and that’s no easy feat. The Chiefs are up next for the Bengals, and don’t be surprised when the Bengals beat the Chiefs for a third straight time.

3) The Ravens can’t finish

For the fourth time this season, the Ravens blew a game they should have won. The defense seems to never come up with the big stop, and on offense the lack of a deep threat is killing Lamar Jackson. Because of those reasons, the Ravens are the most overrated team in the NFL.

4) Mike White is the man in New York

In a game reminiscent of his performance against the Bengals last season, quarterback Mike White lit up New Jersey on Sunday. We all know what happened after that Bengals game for White last season. Will it happen again, or is White that guy?

5) The Broncos are a mess

We already knew this, but it sank to a new low on Sunday as the Carolina Panthers completely took apart the Broncos. Russell Wilson is still struggling, and the offense is a mess; I wonder who the new head coach will be in Denver next year.

6) Jacoby Brissett goes out a winner

Assuming Deshaun Watson starts next Sunday, Jacoby Brissett went out as a winner on Sunday. Brissett has played well and is better than more than a few present NFL starters. Now Cleveland gets a big win and will follow it up with the Deshaun Watson circus.

7) Coaches that are on a very hot-seat

Start in Denver, where the Broncos brought in Nathaniel Hackett and gave him Russell Wilson, and now the Broncos are somehow worse than they were last season. Lovie Smith, I thought this hire was a placeholder to get the number one pick and then hire a new head coach at the same time, and that looks to be what is happening. In fairness, Lovie never had a chance; the roster is that bad. Kliff Kingsbury should never have even gotten the job a few years ago, and every year the cards start hot, and then the bottom drops out, this year, it has been a mess from the start, and Kingsbury is about to pay the price.
