When the accident occurred, Garrett and a passenger drove away from Browns’ practice area. Garrett flipped his Porsche and was able to escape with only minor injuries.
Nicole Lynn, Garrett’s agent, stated in a Twitter statement that Garrett was alert and responsive during his medical treatment. She stated, “we are still waiting to find out the extent of his injuries.” The Browns are not providing Garrett’s injuries and condition.
After a long weekend, Garret and his teammates returned to practice Monday. They had defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football, winning 29-17.
Since being selected by the Browns first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, the 26-year-old All-Pro DE is one of the NFL’s most prominent players. He has set a single-season team record of 16 sacks and has recorded 61.5 sacks in just 71 games.
Browns hope that he makes a speedy and easy recovery after the accident, as he is one of their most important players.
