There have been many interesting moments during this weekend’s NFL games. With week three already behind us, it is the perfect time to reflect on the best moments from Sunday’s NFL games. Check out the top football betting strategies.
The Indianapolis Colts finally got their first win this weekend. They defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the final seconds to move up to (1-1-1) following the third week.
Many people expected the Chiefs would come out firing on Sunday. However, it was their slow start that led to Kansas City downfall. It was obvious that the Chiefs were struggling in the first half. They led 14-10 at halftime, but things weren’t looking good.
The Chiefs’ biggest problem was an offense that didn’t seem as strong in the second half. With just 30 seconds remaining, Matt Ryan made a touchdown pass for the Colts, which saw them defeat the Chiefs 20-17.
The Chicago Bears won their game against Houston Texans in the last seconds of a week full of last-minute winners. They secured their second win of the season with a Cairo Santos field goal.
Roquan Smith won the game with 20 points remaining in overtime. The Houston-based linebacker intercepted Davis Mills and set up Santos’ winning field goal.
After beating the Texans and former Bears coach Lovie Smith, the Bears were 23-20 winners. They now sit at (2-1) in the league.
The Eagles scored only in one quarter against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, but it was enough to keep Philadelphia unbeaten this season. They comfortably swept past the Commanders 24-8,
Jalen Hurts was a star throughout the game. The quarterback threw three touchdowns and 330 yards during Sunday’s defeat of the Commanders. In a disappointing performance, Washington QB Carson Wentz was sacked nine times during the game. The Eagles look like the best team in the NFC.
On Sunday, the Jaguars ran wild against the Los Angeles Chargers. Trevor Lawrence threw for 262 yards. This was also the second consecutive win by the Jaguars of 20+ points on the road.
The Chargers held the ball for only 22 minutes in the match, which was not a good showing by the Jaguars.
The Jacksonville side’s biggest road win since 2001, when they beat Minnesota 33-3, was their largest. At that time, the Jaguars’ quarterback was just two years old.
The Miami Dolphins took on the Buffalo Bills in an exciting matchup, one of the most anticipated games of the weekend. The final quarter saw the Dolphins win over the Super Bowl favorites.
The game’s best moment was undoubtedly the “butt punt”, which Thomas Morstead took to the middle of the Dolphins’ end zone and swung with his right leg, hitting a punt into Trent Sherfield’s backside.
The Miami side won the last laugh, however. They quickly got over the embarrassing kick and put on a confident performance to beat the Bills 21-19.
The Bills are an injured team as of right now, so if you are a Dolphins fan don’t get to happy with the win because the Bills will get healthy.
