2022 NFL Draft big board: Ranking the top 130 eligible prospects

An early look at the 2022 NFL Draft's best players
Publish Date: 05/13/2021
Fact checked by: Mike Goodpaster

The 2022 NFL Draft is a year away, but it isn’t too early for football enthusiasts to check out the projected top prospects. Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux is an early leader for the top spot, but a handful of quarterbacks could throw their names into the ring. Meanwhile, the cornerback group coming down the line could go down as an all-time NFL class.

This board doesn’t place much emphasis on positional value. Production played a large role in where players ranked, but a few projection prospects also made the list. The NFL selected several breakout players early in each of the past few drafts, including Joe Burrow, Dwayne Haskins, Trey Lance, and Mitch Trubisky.

Here’s an early look at the top 130 prospects you should keep an eye on ahead of the 2021 college football season. One or two of these stars might play for your favorite NFL team by this time next year.
