The Bills are a mess and losing Dawson Knox does not help. The Bills offense is struggling and the defense while better than last year has serious questions also. The Bills face an early must-win game against Tampa Bay.
The Bengals had a bye week. The next game they will play will be at the 49ers and if Birrow is finely healthy and the Bengals get the win, they all of a sudden will be back as a leading Super Bowl contender.
Dallas received a bye in Week 7. They host the Rams this Sunday before facing off against Philadelphia on Nov. 5.
Miami was overwhelmed by the physicality of Philadelphia on both sides of the ball yet still managed to force two turnovers which bodes well for their defense when Jalen Ramsey and Xavien Howard returned to action. Even with them back the Dolphins will still have serious issues on the defensive side of the ball.
After starting off 1-2, Jacksonville has now won four straight games – highlighted by their 31-24 win against the Saints last Thursday night. Now Jacksonville faces its greatest test yet when taking on Pittsburgh on Sunday.
The 49ers offense could not compensate for Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams’ absences against the Vikings, ultimately falling 22-17. Brock Purdy delivered another solid performance. Regardless, long term, it will all work out fine, as long as they get everybody back healthy.
Detroit Lions were hit hard from the opening kickoff by the Baltimore Ravens; sometimes, that is just how the league works; nonetheless, Detroit remains the favorite to take down the NFC North division title.
On Sunday night, the Eagles overpowered the Dolphins, particularly during a decisive fourth quarter when they converted two “Brotherly Shoves” before scoring to seal the victory. A.J. Brown has put himself into consideration for Offensive Player of the Year honors. Jalen Hurts has not been as good as he was last season, but he doesn’t have to be as the Eagles are one of the most complete teams in the NFL.
Have we witnessed Lamar Jackson’s best performance as a Raven? In Sunday’s win against the Lions, Jackson put on an outstanding performance with 357 passing yards and three touchdown passes while also scoring one rushing TD – something Baltimore can only become even stronger once they become healthier. Jackson, in a new offense has looked outstanding as a pocket passer and he still gives you the threat that he could run, especially in the red zone.
Taylor Swift may be Kansas City’s lucky charm; their undefeated record when Swift attends a game (4-0), including their 31-17 win against the Chargers on Sunday, was proof of that. Kansas City is unstoppable when Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are performing at their highest levels on the field. In all seriousness the Chiefs are number one because they now have a stingy defense to go along with a great offense.
