On Tuesday, the Broncos welcomed the seven-time Formula One champion to their ownership group via Twitter.

Hamilton Joins Broncos Rebuilding Efforts
Hamilton has more than 100 wins and is considered one of the greatest F1 drivers.
He is now a limited shareholder in the Walton-Penner Takeover.
Hamilton is the third limited shareholder to have joined the Walton-Penner Group.
Hamilton joins Mellody Hobson, Ariel Investments co-CEO and Condoleezza Rice as minor stakeholders in the Denver Broncos.
In June, the Walton-Penner Group agreed to purchase the Broncos from the Patrick D. Bowlen Trust.
Last week, the NFL finance committee unanimously recommended approval of the sale.
After the league approves the deal, the group will officially take control of the Broncos.

The $4.65 billion deal is the largest ever paid for an American sports franchise.
Rob Walton, the Walmart heir, leads the Walton-Penner clan. His daughter Carrier and Greg Penner are also part of the Walton-Penner clan.
The Broncos are still the tenth most valuable NFL team. However, advertising revenue set a new record in 2021, driving up the sale price.
Forbes estimates that the Broncos will be worth 3.75 Billion in 2022.
