Utah received some assistance in the last week of the regular season, winning a tiebreaker with Washington State and Oregon. This allowed it to advance to the Pac-12 Championship. The short version is that Utah won the fourth tiebreaker against Washington and Oregon because of its conference strength and now has a shot to knock the Trojans from playoff contention.
