USC Trojans Betting Tips
The USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins played a thrilling 48-45 on Saturday night. The Trojans still have hopes of making the CFB playoffs, which was a major win. They now stand at 10-1 and have won their four previous games in a row since losing to Utah by one point. Their powerful offense is leading the charge at USC. They are 2nd in the country in yards per game, 4th in passing and 3rd overall in scoring, with 42.9 points per game. After posting 17 TDs last year for Pitt, he now has only eight TDs as a Trojan. Even though the USC Passing is among the most elite in the country, they will face one of the top pass defenses in the country.
USC will get their fair share of the points in this game, which is important considering that USC’s defense has been weak at best this season. USC allowed UCLA 513 yards total offense, which included 204 yards on ground. This is not good news for the Irish, who have enjoyed one of the most impressive ground games in the country over the past seven to eight weeks. USC ranks 66th in run defense and their pass defense is 103rd.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish Betting Tips
Since their shocking loss to Stanford at home, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are on a roll. They have won five straight games after crushing Boston College 44-0. The Irish are now at 8-3 and should be in contention for a good Bowl game. With a win against a strong USC side, they can earn an even better bid to a bowl. They have scored at least 35 points each in five of their last five games and an average of 39.8 ppg for the Notre Dame offense. Their offense will be crucial to keep the momentum going here, as the Trojans will score their fair share. Although the Irish could not run the ball against Navy two weeks ago, they managed 281 yards last week against the Eagles. They rank 36th in rushing, and USC is an average run team.
Drew Pyne will face one of the worst pass defenses in America so it is crucial that the Irish improve their ground game. Pyne’s performance this year has been good, with 1703 yards and 19 TDs to only five INTs. He will be a significant threat to the Trojans defense. They allowed only 173 yards total offense to BC last Saturday. They currently rank 17th in total yards, 16th against pass, 36th against run, and 29th for points allowed. They give up only 20.3 ppg. This powerful USC Offense will test the defense.
