1- Let’s go back to your playing days. You were one of the best quarterbacks I was able to see play back then. What do you think has carried over from those days that shows up in your coaching style?
I had a career playing and got to play for Great coaches. It helped me be the coach I am today! I want all my players to have the great experiences that I had playing the Ultimate Team Game!
When I was in college I knew I wanted to be a coach snd got started as soon as I could.
The common thing is having very good players and bringing excitement to the program.
Depends on what team I have. Most of the time I would like to give my Qb options to make something happen running or throwing.
It is difficult getting teams to play us that are close to us but as you have seen our schedule we want to play the best and get our team ready for the playoffs.
I have always looked to play the best teams and put my team in big-time game atmospheres.
Specials teams are 1/3 of the game. We start every practice with 15 min of special teams and Monday and Thursday are both big special teams days. 30-45min on those days.
Yes, this year was very difficult dealing with fans and not using our locker room. Our players did a great job adjusting in a difficult situation to be State Champs.
When teams can do both consistently run/pass it makes it very difficult to defend.
I played All three baseball-basketball-football growing up and basketball and football in high school. I coached basketball along with football my first 2 years of coaching. I love the game and teaching the game. Being in a competitive environment is the most important thing kids can do. So I encourage to play everything.
