Georgia Bulldogs Betting Tips
Last year, Georgia proved to the nation that they were the best team in the College Football Playoffs. There’s no reason for Georgia to lose that title this season. The SEC champions enter this game with an undefeated record. They have been making it look easy throughout the season. One of their thirteen wins was by single digits. That was a win of four points against Missouri in October. It has now been eight consecutive wins by double-digits. Four of these victories were on the road or at neutral sites. Although the semifinal will be held at a neutral venue, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is close to the heart of the fanbase. Georgia is expected to be heavily favored and this semifinal should draw a Georgia-heavy crowd. Michigan has already shown the way for Georgia to beat the Buckeyes. Georgia will follow their lead, but with a better roster.

Fans should be aware that Georgia has two absences. However, neither should significantly alter the game. Arik Gilbert has entered the transfer portal. He will not be available for this game. However, Ladd McConkey’s status (knee) will need to be closely monitored as he is questionable going into this one. His absence, Georgia’s second-leading receiver, could significantly impact this matchup.
It’s not surprising that Georgia has been a top-ranked team on both sides of the ball this season. This will cause severe problems for the Buckeyes. This team ranks first in the nation for running defense and second in scoring defense. However, the concern is with the pass, given Ohio State’s pass-heavy offensive. They have Stetson Bennett (21 touchdowns, six interceptions) in their back pocket as one of college footballâs most skilled quarterbacks. They should also have a three-headed backfield, which will help them keep fresh when controlling this one.

Ohio State Buckeyes Betting Tips
The Buckeyes lost the regular-season finale against Michigan for the second consecutive season. Ohio State could still sneak into the playoff this season even with that loss. However, facing Georgia might be daunting. The Buckeyes appeared to be destined for the playoff’s top two spots for the first 11 weeks. However, they lost against Michigan and now have more questions than answers. Both sides have had some issues with the running game, especially regarding Georgia, which is a strong team in the trenches. The Buckeyes will also have to deal with the Jaxon SmithâNjigba opt-out, even though plenty of football could be left. Ohio State is currently at 3-3 in the CFP and will look to make the playoff’s most significant statement with this upset.
While it’s clear that Ohio State’s offense is one of the most dynamic in the country, there are still questions about how the defense will handle this. There were many weaknesses in the game against Michigan, particularly against the run. This will be a test for them. Tommy Eichenberg has been a top-notch player in the middle, but the Buckeyes will need to put in a full effort from their front seven in this game. With CJ Stroud (37 touchdowns and six interceptions), he will likely be as strong in this one again. However, the defense will have to give him some margin for error to continue leading the offense.
