Fans should be aware that Georgia has two absences. However, neither should significantly alter the game. Arik Gilbert has entered the transfer portal. He will not be available for this game. However, Ladd McConkey’s status (knee) will need to be closely monitored as he is questionable going into this one. His absence, Georgia’s second-leading receiver, could significantly impact this matchup.
It’s not surprising that Georgia has been a top-ranked team on both sides of the ball this season. This will cause severe problems for the Buckeyes. This team ranks first in the nation for running defense and second in scoring defense. However, the concern is with the pass, given Ohio State’s pass-heavy offensive. They have Stetson Bennett (21 touchdowns, six interceptions) in their back pocket as one of college football’s most skilled quarterbacks. They should also have a three-headed backfield, which will help them keep fresh when controlling this one.

Ohio State Buckeyes Betting Tips
The Buckeyes lost the regular-season finale against Michigan for the second consecutive season. Ohio State could still sneak into the playoff this season even with that loss. However, facing Georgia might be daunting. The Buckeyes appeared to be destined for the playoff’s top two spots for the first 11 weeks. Both sides have had some issues with the running game, especially regarding Georgia, which is a strong team in the trenches. Tommy Eichenberg has been a top-notch player in the middle, but the Buckeyes will need to put in a full effort from their front seven in this game. With CJ Stroud (37 touchdowns and six interceptions), he will likely be as strong in this one again. However, the defense will have to give him some margin for error to continue leading the offense.
