Yes, the Vols have been strong in the running game, and Anthony Richardson is an interesting NFL draft choice. But the passing attack has been inconsistent at best and disastrous at worst. If the Vols can stop the run, then everything should be fine.
While the offense in Florida is the most prominent, the defense is the real problem. It’s the worst SEC defense at third down spots. The run D was just hammered by USF and there isn’t enough pass rush to trouble the Vol backfield.
