Why 2022 will be better: Returning talent
Steve Sarkisian’s second season should be even better because the offense may be Texas defence-proof, which means they may be able to out score people this season. If the defense is improved then the Longhorns could really shock people in 2022..
The Longhorn D will be better. With the help of Diamone Tucker Dorsey, a James Madison transfer portal, the linebacking corps is well-equipped. The secondary could be one of the team’s greatest hidden talents.
It doesn’t matter because the O should go all-out.
Quinn Ewers, Ohio State’s transfer quarterback, could be the answer Longhorn fans have been waiting for.
It is nearly unfair to ask WR Isaiah Neyer of Wyoming to join Xavier Worthy or Jordan Whittington. RB Bijan Robinson should also be at an NFL camp. Texas is loaded at the skill positions and should be explosive on offense.
Why 2022 will be better: The Schedule
Last season’s schedule was not an issue. This year, the Week 2 battle will be coming from Alabama. The Baylor game will be in Austin. The first seven games of the season are in Texas. Having to travel to Kansas State or Kansas isnât bad.
It isn’t like going to Georgia or LSU, as the program may have to soon.
