Rivalry week was a glorious display of the beauty pertaining to the College Football regular season, and that was without a huge upset. Still in complete shock, we have four unbeaten and this many 1-loss teams, but letâs hope this is a trend in the future when 12 programs will make the playoffs. The Conference Title games are here with several scenarios that are certainly possible. If Bama beats Georgia, are they in? If Texas wins & Oregon doesnât, could they prevent Bama from getting a spot? If Bama wins does Georgia still get in and what do you do about FSU if they stay undefeated? Lucky for us we get to see how this all plays out in the coming days.
#1 Georgia vs. #8 Alabama: These two SEC powerhouses havenât played since 2021 in the NCAA title game. The Bulldogs looking to cross the 30-win threshold on Saturday will have their hands full with an improved Alabama team. Of course that same Bama team needed a 4th down miracle to beat Auburn last Saturday. Although Alabama QB Jalen Milroe has taken notable strides this year the guy from Georgia QB Carson Beck has been better at what they ask him to do. That said they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Milroe will have to make several plays with his feet but also his arm and it canât be just the deep ball. Statistically speaking Georgia has the edge along with the betting lines in the Bulldogs favor. This College Football podcast just doesnât trust Alabamaâs o-line enough to keep a clean enough pocket. Regardless this one will be on the table in the 4th.

The Pick: Georgia -5.5Â
Â
#3 Washington vs. #5 Oregon: This PAC-12 marquee matchup has a whole lot at stake heading into Fridayâs rematch. In their first meeting Washington outlasted Oregon scoring a touchdown with under two minutes remaining. The Ducks didnât turn the ball over but they did miss a FG late to force overtime and had 3 turnover on downs. Oregon also outrushed the Huskies 204-99. The Ducks have taken it up a notch after losing at Washington. Washingtonâs QB Michael Penix Jr. hasnât played at the same level and the Huskies defense is not all that great. Since the game back in early October Washington has been skating by playing with fire one too many times and on Friday theyâll finally get burned. Oregon simply has too many paths to victory.
The Pick: Oregon wins but Washington +10

Â
#4 Florida State vs. #14 Louisville: Florida State lost their starting quarterback, Jordan Travis, and it may cost them a spot in the 4-team playoff. The offense last week versus a poor Florida team appeared to be severely hampered. The Cardinals didnât help their standing much, losing to in-state foe Kentucky. Without Travis, Louisville has a better offense than the Seminoles, and that seems obvious. The key here will be FSUâs poor rush defense not being able to match up with a productive Cardinals rushing attack.
Â
The Pick: Louisville +1.5
Â
Â
UNLV slows down a hot Boise State club as a +2.5 underdog.
Â
Â
#22 Tulane vs. SMU: This game was a 50-50 for me, and I was leaning SMU until their signal caller Preston Stone broke his leg last week. Now the Mustangs will have to rely on backup QB Kevin Jennings, who might sneak up on Tulane. Both teams play solid defense, so Tulane’s having QB Michael Pratt will be the difference-maker in this AAC title game.
Â
The Pick: Tulane -3.5

Â
Against The Spread
Â
#16 Iowa +22 versus #2 Michigan
Â
#3 Washington +10 versus #5 Oregon
