Oregon Ducks (5-0, 0-0 Big Ten) will look for their second consecutive road victory on Tuesday afternoon when they take on Texas A&M Aggies (4-1, 0-0 SEC) at MGM Grand Garden Arena for the Players Era Festival-Power Tournament game. Game time is scheduled to commence at 4:30 PM ET.
The Ducks are coming off of a 78-75 win against Oregon State as 6.5-point favorites and the Aggies from their 71-54 triumph against Southern as 25.5-point favorites, respectively.
Texas A&M won the only meeting between these teams in 2022 by an unsurpassable score of 75-60.
Oregon has won five consecutive games, while the Aggies have taken four of five victories. Oregon is the superior offensive team; their shooting has been exceptional this year – they’ve made 47 per cent of their shots while making over 76 per cent of free throw attempts, and they don’t turn over the ball often either. While Oregon may play well defensively, expect that their formidable offense may prove difficult to stop for the Aggies.
The Aggies won’t fare as well offensively due to poor shooting numbers (they made less than 44% of their shots and only made 70% of free throw attempts) and struggles making free throws (they only hit 60% of attempts). Their rebounding has been excellent and should provide them with some chances in this game, yet carelessness in handling the ball could create easy scoring chances for Oregon, which has done well defensively (holding opponents under 70 points per game). Oregon should cover this spread comfortably.

The over/under on this game is a tough pick. Both teams are very talented, and Oregon can score many points in bunches. That said, the Aggies offense causes me concern in this game. I would not lay a big over/under bet in this game, and if I make a small bet, it would be on the under.
