.Hamilton has started the season 0-2, losing two road games to possibly the two best teams in the CFL. Montreal started with a victory and is coming off an early bye week. Bo Levi Mitchell has looked like he is on the downside of his career, and he looks doubtful to play this week.
In their most recent match against the Argonauts, the Tiger-Cats were defeated 32-14. James Butler led his team in rushing, with 13-yard long run and one touchdown scored during that contest; totalling 57 yards on 16 carries and an average of 3.6 yards per carry for that game. D’haquille Williams led in receiving yards by collecting 102 on 6 receptions with 17.0 average yards per catch average earned for that contest; Bo Levi Mitchell completed 16/24 passes and had two interceptions!
Regarding points per game, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats rank 4th in the CFL with 22.5 PPG. So far this season, they have amassed 435 passing yards for an average of 217.5 passing yards per outing – ranking them fifth overall in the CFL. They average 66.5 yards rushing per game and have amassed 133 yards since 2015. Furthermore, they hold an average of 284.0 yards per outing which ranks them 6th overall in CFL competition.
Cody Fajardo completed 14/21 passes for 261 yards without throwing an interception and had one 18-yard run, running 16 times to total 42 yards at an average pace of 2.6 yards per carry for 42 total carries with no touchdown runs in total. William Stanback led all rushers with 18-yard long runs; running for 42 total yards via 16 carries, this amounts to an average run speed of 2.6. Austin Mack led reception yards, notching 120 total reception yards over 4 receptions with an average catch speed of 30.0 yards per catch average for this game!
I like the Als to win this game, I think that Hamilton is in a little bit of disarray and will be able to move the ball on the ground and have a balanced attack. I like Montreal in a close one.
