These two teams finished the regular season on different streaks as the Alouettes come into the playoffs flying high, winners of five straight games. Hamilton, on the other hand, lost their last two games, including a 22-20 game to the Alouettes. So if momentum means anything the Alouettes have the upper hand headed into this game.
Can the Alouettes roll at home?
Montreal enters the postseason riding a five-game win streak, which saw them complete regular season play with an 11-7 record.
The Alouettes have suffered only defeat against teams with better records – Winnipeg, BC and Toronto.
They suffered four consecutive losses against these teams during a difficult stretch between late August and mid-September, yet managed to finish strong and finish the schedule with positive momentum.
Montreal ended their two-game losing streak with a 28-11 victory at Calgary before defeating Ottawa 32-15 before winning 29-3 against the Redblacks back home.
