Usyk replied by saying that he would like to fight “The Gypsy King” next for all the heavyweight marbles or not fight at all. Usyk made it clear that he wants to fight the WBC heavyweight champion.
Fury replied to Usykâs social media call by saying that he was up for the fight, and that Usyk is “easy” for Fury.
Although the fight is unlikely to take place this year, a possible match-up between Fury or Usyk next year is definitely something worth looking into.
Let’s hope that the heavyweight kingpins will agree to fight, start contract negotiations soon, and get the fight started for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
The winner of the fight between Fury or Usyk is the most likely to be the number one heavyweight in his era. They can then retire knowing that no one could defeat them.
Fury will be a more than 2-1 favorite, but Usyk will be the most skilled fighter that Fury has ever faced.
