After a long career in the United Kingdom, Dubois was greeted with boos when he entered the ring. Bryan, born in Schenectady, New York, but is now based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, saw it coming in his adopted hometown. The American could not win or be competitive despite the passionate but tiny crowd’s warm embrace.

Dubois attacked Bryan in round 2. He smothered Bryan and landed right hands upstairs. Dubois also attacked Bryan’s fat midsection, landing his first significant punch of the fight with an extended right hand in the last minute of the round. Dubois was able to shake off the blow and returned with a jab and overhand right.
Round three saw Bryan end his offense. Bryan attempted to set a trap by trying to cut off Dubois’ ring. He landed a double jab and then a right hand. Dubois remained calm and waited for an opening. Bryan drove Dubois to the ropes with a right hand. Dubois connected with right hooks and left hands, while Bryan maintained a strong chin as he took the heavy shots.
Bryan found himself in serious trouble again halfway through round four when a left hook from Dubois sent Bryan reeling into the ropes. Bryan was hit with a huge left hook and right-hand that sent Bryan to the ground. Although he tried unsuccessfully to beat the count, he could not convince Bill Clancy to allow him to continue. Dubois kept chipping away until Bryan was finally defeated.
Bryan’s secondary title reign abruptly ends after only one title defense. He now stands at 22-1 (15KOs). Bryan won his made-up bull shit title against the immortal BJ Flores in the so-called interim title fight, and the WBA World title fight wins over Bermane Stivererne and Jonathan Guidry(whoever the hell that is).
Don King is now ninety years old, and he proves that the good die young! Hopefully, we never have to see him over Trevor Bryan again!.
