Usyk vs Joshua Betting Tips & Predictions
Although neither fighter has been active since September’s first fight, much has changed in the months leading up to the rematch. Usyk was deeply involved in the Ukraine/Russia conflict but was allowed to leave and protect his titles. Joshua appointed Robert Garcia as his trainer, a move that was long overdue. Garcia is most well-known for his work with Mikey Garcia and Nonito Donaire.
Usyk outpunched Joshua in their first fight with 148 punches to 123. Usyk also landed the more difficult shots, including a brutal 12th-round assault that saw him land 29 punches. Joshua was hesitant and not committed enough to put his athleticism and physical advantages on his opponent.
Both fighters have much to prove. Joshua beating Usyk again would make him de facto number one. In light of Tyson Fury’s numerous retirements, Usyk would be the No. 1 heavyweight in the world with another victory. This would end all arguments against him becoming a Hall of Famer. Joshua must win to end the stereotype of a famous fighter who goes through the motions and collects huge paydays in victory or defeat.

Because of his fearlessness and speed, Usyk could dominate Joshua bell to bell. Joshua could not land his big shots because Usyk kept him off balance and fired off at strange angles. Usyk shouldn’t have any reason to change his strategy. With that being said I still think Usyk will win the fight, I just think the odds should be slightly lower than what they are.
