One of the year’s most significant events will kick off this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: an extraordinary clash between top heavyweights from boxing and MMA will occur. WBC/lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury faces former UFC and lineal heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou as they engage in their boxing ring battle as part of an exciting crossover genre event. I am kidding, of course, because this fight is nothing but a set-up money-making grab for both fighters. No world exists where Fury loses this fight, but a world does exist where Fury is ducking Usyk. This circus now includes the over-rated Mike Tyson in Ngannou’s corner. This is nothing more than a shit show! Please do not buy the PPV event, it’s a set up waste of money. But you can make money off this shit by beating the over of 4 rounds with +100 odds.
No, he won’t, and he shouldn’t. This is a colossal mismatch, just like it would be a massive mismatch if Fury fought an MMA fight with Ngannou!
No, he won’t; that’s like asking if a school teacher can hit a 100mph fastball in the World Series. Ngannou has power fighting MMA guys, but as a boxer, I expect to see a man who can’t hurt Tyson Fury.
Fury will win, but the odds at -1400 are not worth betting on. What is worth betting on is the over/under of 4.5 rounds. I guess they will want to make this look good for a while. Expect the same thing we saw in the Mayweather/McGregor fight a few years back. That means that Fury will make it look good, just like Mayweather did before finishing the job. With all that being said, look for Fury to win in more than the 4.5 rounds, so bet the over. So remember, do NOT buy the PPV, but do bet the over and in the end, you do nothing but make money on this fight.
