Can Tommy Fury fight?

That would be a resounding no! At least from what we have seen so far. Fury has been protected more than most, as his only true selling points are his looks and his last name. One of Fury’s wins was over a fighter with 110 losses. 4 of his 8 wins are over boxers who had never won a fight before. The cumulative record of the fighters that Tommy has beaten is 22-176, to say he has been protected is correct. The other disturbing issue is the fact that half of Furys’ opponents survived the distance. This is the best thing for his career because anybody with a warm body will eventually beat him once somebody with a warm body fights him. By fighting Paul, he cashes out with a big payday and who knows, since Paul is not a real boxer either, maybe Tommy can pull the upset or make it close enough to get a rematch.

Nope, he is a circus act and nothing more. He has never fought a true boxer, and Tommy Fury is not a true boxer. This fight is more of a reality show than a sporting event. The fact that people will pay to see it just reminds us of the state of boxing right now. Paul looks dedicated to the sport, and his skills are ok, I guess. The WBC is giving a belt to the winner, which makes sense that a title belt would be given in this fight. I say it makes sense because the sanctioning bodies have become nothing more than a joke, like this fight. I wont pay to watch this shit, but I will bet on Paul to win by a decision and make some money on this shit show!
