Bivol is a long-range fighter who loves to keep his opponents off the end of his jabs and straight punches. Bivol’s footwork suits his style perfectly. He likes to make small steps to keep his opponent from getting too close and dictating his suiting. He is a tall, strong fighter who relies on his quick feet to defend himself.
Bivol is an intelligent boxer whose boxing intelligence goes uncontested to him in this fight. He uses his jab as his greatest weapon. He paws and waves it at his opponents, taking away their jab. His glove is always above theirs. To distract them, he uses his lead hand to find their range, impair their judgement and vision, push them back, and then he can land his jabs while they are still trying to figure out how to get past them. He uses his jab to tap his opponent’s glove with his paw, slips underneath to deliver a quick jab to his body.
Bivol is also a master of straight right and left crosses and uses his jabs for alignment and delivery. Bivol is an excellent Jabber, and when given a chance, he uses his big right hand to follow up.
Ramirez, a former WBO World super-middleweight champion, defended his belt five times between 2016-2018 before moving up to light heavyweight.
The southpaw is an excellent mid-range combination puncher and can slam in hooks with tremendous speed, variation, and power. He’s a great body puncher and has defeated many opponents with powerful blows to their bodies. He’s an entertaining fighter to watch and a fan favorite.

The Russian’s superior boxing intelligence will decide this contest. I can see Bivol using his hard jab to win on points. Bivol’s jab is one of the best in the world.
This fight is between a mid-range fighter who can punch hard and has limited head movement and a leaky defense, and a tall, powerful fighter with excellent distance control and a great jab.
To win this fascinating battle, I am choosing Bivol’s style & skill.

I like Bivol to win on points which pays -170. These odds are not worth making a bet to me; just have no value. I think the best bet is to bet Bivol by a stoppage which gives odds at +350, and I think this is a possibility as this is a big step up in competition for Ramirez.
