What Is the Legal Gambling Age in Ohio?

What type of gambling do you want to take part in?

There’s no single legal gambling age in Ohio, so it’s essential to be aware of what you can and can’t do.

• Aged 16: you can play bingo at bingo halls operating charitable games, but electronic bingo machines are out of bounds.
• Aged 18: you can buy lottery tickets, play Keno games and take part in bass fishing tournaments. You can also enjoy pari-mutuel betting on horse races.
• Aged 21: the full world of gambling opens up, including at land-based casinos, poker rooms and racinos.
