What is the NBA Western Conference?
The way the NBA works is very similar to the NFL. The country is split into two halves with the teams from the west playing in the NBA Western Conference. There are a total of fifteen teams in the conference, each team plays each other four times, twice at home and twice away.
The top six qualify for the NBA Playoffs with teams ranked seven through ten competing in the NBA Play-In tournament to claim the final two spots in the play-offs. The teams are seeded based on their regular season ranking and then play in a knockout bracket to reach the Conference final and the the NBA Finals.
