After Game One’s fourth-quarter collapse, it was apparent that the Golden State Warriors would not drop another game on their home court. The Warriors not only bounced back, but they also dominated the Boston Celtics in game two. Draymond Green was the first to get under the skins of the Celtic players. Steph Curry’s Performance

Curry is making a solid case for being the Finals MVP. Curry was able to capitalize on many great moments in Game Two and had a tremendous stat line.

Curry finished the game with 29 points and six rebounds. He also had four assists and a player-differential +24. This was a team-high in game two that he shared with Otto Porter and Kevon Looney in this area. Curry had many moments of greatness during this game. Curry’s first was a last-second shot towards the end of the quarter. He had a series of three-pointers in the third quarter that he made from picks. This led to massive Golden State runs. It forced Boston’s defense into closing in on the perimeter. This opened up dribble-drive opportunities for other players and gave them easy shots at the rim via the dunker’s spot. Other Notable Headlines from Game Two

As we have already mentioned, Draymond Green set the tone early in the game with his determination and grit. It is safe to say that the Warriors needed Draymond Green’s antics, even though it earned him a technical foul. Ime Udoka, the Celtics’ head coach, was not pleased. Udoka was even given a technical foul late in the game. With this in mind and the difference in free throws between the teams, you shouldn’t be surprised if there is some criticism by the Celtics towards officiating after the blowout.

As he came to life in the second period, there was also a Jordan Poole sighting. He scored 17 points, shooting five for nine from downtown and coming off the bench with nine assists. You could say that he struck the dagger in the final quarter with a half-court heave that snapped it. It took all the fight left in a Boston team that was reeling. Game Two was a complete blowout. This series is not over, despite how chippy it started.

Remember that the Boston goal was to gain a split in Golden State, and they did that. For all you Warrior fans out there, the Celtics will not go away, and the Warriors will not be hot every night. This is shaping up to be a long series.
