Penn State took care of Michigan as expected last night, and now they will play an Indiana Hoosier team that they have already beaten twice this season. The Hoosiers have played up to their potential in their last four games, winning all four as underdogs. They start this game off as a slight favorite, but it would not surprise me to see the line swing to Penn State’s favor(It Has).
These odds were updated at 9 am EST on 03/14/24; the odds came from Draft Kings.

Mike Rhodes is an outstanding coach, but his pressing style requires more players. Baldwin will put up numbers, but I fear Penn State might struggle against Ware and Reneau, who are too big and lengthy for a squad that doesn’t rebound well or defend the paint effectively. Meanwhile, Indiana is playing as well as any team in the Big ten and needs to win games to secure its postseason fate; that doesn’t happen by beating Penn State, but that can be one way of doing it.
With the spread at one point, either way, the money line bet is the best bet on either team.

I look forward to each team playing this game in the low to mid-70s in a close, tight game. Ace Baldwin will score in the 20s, but Ware and Reneau should dominate, giving the Hoosiers an edge.
ย
The spread is dead on, as this is a toss-up game between two teams that have played much better recently.
ย
Penn State won both of the earlier contests between these two teams, and the surprising part of both games was how well Penn State held their own on the boards. I expect the Hoosiers to have a small advantage in this game and to do better on the offensive glass than they did in the other two games.
ย
I like Indiana in this game; I know many people think that because of the first two games that Penn State won, I have a hard time seeing it happen for the third time. Nobody has disclosed Trey Galloway’s injury info as of 8 am the morning of the game. He is not on an official injury report as of this time, but he is seen as questionable. If he plays and is near 100 per cent, the Hoosiers will win the game. Xavier Johnson had major issues the first two times these teams met, and he will have to play much better in this contest, and I believe he will.
