NCAA Nebraska Cornhuskers vs Ohio State Buckeyes: Odds, Tips and Predictions 03-04-25

These two teams are teetering on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament, and both desperately need a win tonight. Both teams are on the bubble because of inconsistency and will have to get it together tonight if they want a shot at participating in March Madness. The Cornhuskers are struggling as they face three consecutive losses. The Buckeyes broke their losing streak with a win this weekend and now have a record of 16-13 for the season.

Nebraska Cornhuskers vs Ohio State Buckeyes

• Point Spread: Ohio State -5.5
• Moneyline Nebraska +198
• Moneyline Ohio State -245
• Over/Under 143.5

Both teams have been struggling recently, but the Buckeyes appear to be turning things around with two impressive performances against UCLA and USC. They have won six out of their last ten games and have a record of 6-4 against the spread in that period. The Buckeyes boast a stronger offense, thanks to a veteran backcourt that is crucial in tight matchups. They should excel from beyond the arc against the Cornhuskers, as Ohio State ranks third in the Big Ten in 3-point shooting, while Nebraska sits in 12th place for 3-point defense. Additionally, Nebraska has posted a disappointing 1-4 record against the spread in their last five games. Given their challenging schedule and quality victories, Ohio State still has a chance to earn an NCAA tournament invitation if they finish strong. They are likely to handle their business at home on Tuesday night.
