NCAA Basketball Maryland Terrapins vs Ohio State Buckeyes: Odds, Tips and Predictions 02-06-25

The Maryland Terrapins have been on a hot streak as of late, and they already dominated Ohio State in Maryland earlier this season. The Ohio State Buckeyes have been an enigma this season. The Buckeyes have shown in wins over Kentucky and Purdue that they are capable of beating anyone, but at the same time, they have shown they can lose to anybody. The Buckeyes are sitting on the bubble, and a win here will boost that resume big time.

Maryland Terrapins vs Ohio State Buckeyes

• Point Spread: Ohio State -2.5
• Moneyline Maryland +125
• Moneyline Ohio State -150
• Over/Under 146.5

Ohio State has faced challenges against larger teams, and Maryland boasts two of the strongest interior players in the conference. Recently, Ohio State lost at home to Indiana and was defeated by Illinois. Indiana features two dominant big men, Ballo and Reneau, while Illinois has a formidable 7-footer in Ivisic. Maryland’s lineup includes two of the top freshman big men in the country, Queen and Julian Reese, who is a powerful presence on the boards. Although Ohio State has Bradshaw in the middle, he has not lived up to expectations as a top recruit since his time at Kentucky. The Maryland big men are more physical and are likely to control the paint during the game. The Terrapins have won four consecutive matches and are benefiting from balanced scoring, with five players averaging in double figures.

Missouri vs Tennessee Over/Under Analysis

I expect a high-energy game tonight, and a line of 146.5 is a line I will bet. This game should be played in the high sixties and I will make a small under bet.

This will be a tight game, but I think the Terps pull the small upset off with their superior interior play. Maryland 68 Ohio State 66
