Iowa vs Purdue Preview
Iowa will travel to No. 1 Purdue to try and extend its three-game winning streak. On Thursday night. The Hawkeyes won seven of their nine previous games and are now tied for second in the Big Ten standings. Purdue lost its nine-game winning streak to then-No. Saturday, 21 Indiana.
From the end of November through the beginning of January, Iowa experienced a difficult time. They lost six of nine games. After a four-game winning streak, the Hawkeyes lost two games on the road at Ohio State and Michigan State before rebounding. They won three games last week and beat Northwestern, Rutgers, and Illinois. In its 93-82 victory against Rutgers, Iowa covered the 4-point and covered the 6.5-point spread against Northwestern. The final score was 86-70. In their 81-79 victory over Illinois, the Hawkeyes narrowly missed covering the 3-point spread. Tony Perkins scored 25 points of his career-high 32 in the second half.
Perkins made 8 of 11 free throws and 15 of 16 from the floor, scoring 17 of the teamâs final 28 points. Kris Murray was the team’s leading scorer with 19 points and seven boards. This slightly drops from his season average of 20.5 and 8.5 points. The Hawkeyes are ranked second in KenPomâs adjusted offensive efficiency ratings. They also have the ninth-lowest turnover rates in the country. They shoot 35.2% from the 3-point line and 52.1% from within the arc. Boilermakers are known for not forcing turnovers. They rank 327 in the nation in that category.

Purdue Boilermakers Betting Tips
Purdue is the best college basketball team this season. Despite losing to Indiana on Saturday, they are still at the top of the polls.
