Indiana vs Maryland Preview
The red-hot Indiana Hoosiers will travel to College Park, Maryland, to battle the Maryland Terrapins. Maryland is 5-0 at home in Big Ten play and will offer a massive challenge to an Indiana team that can’t get caught looking ahead to Saturday’s colossal matchup against Purdue.
Indiana ranks 21st in the most recent AP Poll. But, more important, they rank 20th in the NCAA Net rankings. After losing three straight, the Hoosiers have won five consecutive games. They also won an -86-70 victory over Ohio State on Jan. 28 as a 4.5-point favorite. Jalen Hood Schifino scored 24 points by going 6-of-9 from beyond the arc. Trayce Jackson–Davis had 18 points, ten boards, and six assists. The Hoosiers were 10-of-20 from beyond the arc, while the Buckeyes were held to 26% (5-of-19), from long range.
Bad news: Jordan Geronimo (6-6-220), did not play due to a leg injury. On 54.4% shooting, the junior forward averages 5.6 and 3.2 points per game. In an 80-65 road win over Illinois, he had 13 points and eight rebounds. He also scored 12 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Wisconsin (63-45).
Indiana’s field shooting is 50.3%, ranking them fourth in the country. They also average 78.6 points per match (37th). They rank 20th in long-range shooting at 38.4%. They are defending three-point shots well (33.3%) and keeping teams to only 40.8% (52nd) overall. Jackson–Davis leads Hoosiers with 19.6 points per game and 10.7 rebounds with 3.2 blocks. Jackson-Davis should be considered the favourite to win Big 10 Player Of The Year.
The Hoosiers will have to play better than they did in their last road game, where they struggled to beat Minnesota. A win tonight, and the Hoosiers will find themselves with a legit chance at a regular season Big Ten title.

Maryland Terrapins Betting Tips
Maryland is currently 11-1 at home and 1-5 on road this season. They will need to add another road win to their NCAA Tournament resume. They currently sit 38th in NCAA Net Rankings, with a 5-7 record against Quad 1 and Quad 2 teams. They could win against Indiana, which would boost their Quad 1 wins.
