Illinois vs Indiana Preview
The Illinois Fighting Illini plays the Indiana Hoosiers
Saturday, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Tip-off is at 12:00 p.m. from Bloomington, IN. ET.
Penn State defeated Illinois on Tuesday, dropping them to 17-8 SU and 15-9-1 ATS. The Fighting Illini are now 3-2 straight-up after their last five games and 8-6 in Big Ten Conference contest.
Northwestern defeated Indiana on Wednesday (18-8 SU,13-12-1 ATS). The Hoosiers are now 3-2 in straight-up play in their last five games and 9-6 in Big Ten play.
On January 19, Indiana beat Illinois 80-65. The Hoosiers shot 61.8% from the field, while the Illini were held under 40 percent. IU won the rebounding contest 39-27.
The series is 95-91 in favor of Indiana. They first met in 1906 on January 20, when the Illini won 27-24.
After beating Ohio State, Wisconsin and Nebraska in consecutive games, after that streak the Illini lost at Iowa by two and upset Rutgers 24th by nine. They lost to Penn State in their last game. Illnois gaces a tough closing stretch as they will face Indiana and Purdue on the road.
The Fighting Illini fell behind by 13 at halftime to the Nittany Lions and couldn’t recover despite shooting 47.5 per cent from the field. Penn State was difficult to defend. Indiana Hoosiers Betting Tips
