In Game 1, the Thunder’s offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting 56% from the field and 54% from beyond the arc. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 37 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams added 19 and 18 points, respectively.
The Timberwolves had a strong second quarter, outscoring the Thunder 40-26, but couldn’t maintain the momentum. Anthony Edwards posted 29 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists, while Naz Reid contributed 22 points off the bench.
