Game 1 review
It was an intense game between the Celtics and the Warriors on Thursday. The Warriors were leading by 12 points heading into the fourth quarter, but the Celtics stole the win instead, with 120-108 on the scoreboard.
Guard
Jaylen Brown
was showing off his explosive play with rebounds and defense. The 2021 All-Star scored 24 points, had seven rebounds, and five assists. Derrick White, another guard, also put in a strong performance, scoring 21 points, dishing out three assists, and shooting 5-for-8 from three.
From the Warriors side, MVP Stephen Curry had five dimes and scored 21 points in the first quarter. While the Celtics made very few defensive mistakes, the team left Curry open, which allowed him to score.
It could have been the night for the Warriors before the Celtics rallied in the fourth quarter and turned the table around.

The Golden State Warriors are favored to win Game 2 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The odds provided by

showed the Warriors to win at moneyline -190 and the Celtics at moneyline +160.
The prediction is also supported by Curry and Klay Thompson’s impressive performances. As an eight-time All-Star, Curry has a deep range and is able to catch fire quickly. In Game 1, Curry shot 6-for-7 from three and ended the game with 34 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
The Warriors also have Thompson as a shooter. With his extensive experience in a lot of big-time games that he had played, Thompson had a really good grasp of what pressure feels like. Thompson, like Curry, tends to get heated up pretty quickly with his effortless shooting and outstanding defensive instincts. In Game 1, Thompson contributed 15 points and shot 3-for-7 from deep.
