Elon vs Indiana Preview
It’s a nonconference matchup on the college hardwood, when a team of CAA team heads travels to face a Big Ten foe from the Hoosier State. The Elon Phoenix is on the road to take on the #18 Indiana Hoosiers Tuesday night. Although they were an underdog by 8.5 points, Elon lost only 71-66 to Valparaiso on Sunday afternoon as they covered the spread. Indiana fell soundly to #8 Kansas, falling 84-62. They failed to cover as a five-point underdog on Saturday afternoon. The meeting marks the first time the two Division I teams have met on the hardwood.
Elon was resilient but fell short at Valparaiso, their second consecutive loss. With the loss, the Phoenix fell to 2-10 for the season and still seek their first victory over a Division I opponent going into this game. Elon led Valparaiso by five midway through the first half before being outscored 26-8 to finish the half. At intermission, The Phienix fell behind by as many as 17 points early in the second half before Elon went on a 16-3 run to reduce the gap to 57-53 with just 6:41 left. Elon shot 37.5%, with a poor three of 27 showings from beyond the arc as Valpo held on to win the game. They allowed Valparaiso a 51% shooting percentage. Max McKinnon led the Phoenix with 18 points and six rebounds.

Indiana Hoosiers Betting Tips
