LIV Golf Secures TV Deal with Team Of Broadcasters
LIV Golf has poached some of the best golfers on the PGA Tour and is now looking to attract a TV deal. Although some have criticized those who joined the Saudi-backed league for golf have been harsh, Barkley is not one to be afraid of controversy.
Barkley is a lifelong golf fan and might be open to commentating for LIV Golf.
Barkley, despite the criticisms, has stood by the golfers who accepted the nine-figure offers made them by the Saudi-funded tour.

Barkley meets with LIV Golf over Broadcasting Role
Barkley said that he planned to speak with LIV Golf about a possible media role. Barkley denied that he knew the details of the possible position, but he played down the possibility of meeting with LIV Golf.
“I am going to meet with LIV. They called me and asked if I would be willing to meet with them. There is nothing that’s imminent. I don’t know what they want or how they want me to act technically, but it’s important to look at all options. Your question has been answered 100 per cent. Barkley stated last week that he would meet LIV at the Next Round Show.
What Does Charles Barkley Earn at TNT?
According to reports, Charles Barkley’s TNT salary is $6 million annually.
Barkley’s current contract will run until the end of the NBA’s 2024-2025 seasons.
Barkley could be allowed to terminate his TNT contract if the price is right.
Charles Barkley’s LIV Golf Contract and Salary Projections
Dan Patrick says that if LIV Golf presents Barkley with a large figure, it could mean the end of his tenure on Inside the NBA. Barkley, who has been a TNT broadcaster for over 20 years, will meet with LIV Golf’s higher-ups on Wednesday night.
Patrick said that Barkley would listen to any offer but might have to leave TNT should anything become official. Barkley’s agreement with the LIV Tour will impact his ability to continue his duties as Inside the NBA co-host.
Barkley’s departure from TNT would be huge news, as LIV Golf will take away one of the NBA’s most prominent personalities.
Phil Mickelson was reportedly offered a $200 million contract to join LIV Golf. It wouldn’t surprise Barkley to receive more than twice his salary in a TNT exit deal.
