Maryland is a competent team, and they proved it on Sunday by laying the smackdown on Ohio State. The Terrapins are not consistent, but they are a talented team.

9) Rutgers Scarlet Knights

Not too long ago, Rutgers was hot and looked like an almost sure NCAA Tourney team, then came a three-game losing streak. They face a huge road test against the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday night.

8) Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines had a mixed week as they beat Rutgers and lost to Illinois, and the rest of the schedule will be challenging for the Wolverines, especially since their coach has been suspended.

7) Indiana Hoosiers

The Hoosiers may have finally found some answers, and those answers could be Xavier Johnson and the return of Rob Phinisee! You win in College with a strong backcourt, and JohnsJohnson’s has been excellent over the last two games, and now with PhiniPhinisee’srn, they have depth in that backcourt.

6) Ohio State Buckeyes

On Monday, the Buckeyes survived overtime against Indiana and over the weekend, they got embarrassed by Maryland, which should not happen at this point. Click here for more college basketball news!

5) Michigan State Spartans

The Spartans got a massive win over Purdue on Saturday to hopefully right the ship. They would be at best number seven in these rankings without that win.

4) Iowa Hawkeyes

The Hawkeyes are as hot as any team in the Big Ten, winning six of their last seven games. Maybe the best offensive team in the Big Ten, and the defense has improved.
