The Wolverines are an incredibly talented team, and as of late, they have shown signs that they are about to break out, but inconsistency is killing them. Saturday’s loss at Michigan State hurts but this team is teetering between being an NCAA tourney team and playing in the NIT.

The Hawkeyes need to get back on a winning track this week, and it won’t be easy with games against Ohio State and Minnesota on the slate. The Monday night loss to Penn State is unacceptable and they need to get at least one win out of the two games they have left this week.
Inconsistency has defined the Knights season, and it’s starting to look like it might not change anytime soon. Another bad loss or two, and the Knights will be NIT bound.

The Spartans lost a close one at Illinois but rebounded to win a solid home against the Michigan Wolverines. Maryland and Rutgers lie ahead this week for the Spartans.
Illinois had a terrific week as they won a close one over Michigan State at home and beat Northwestern on Saturday in a hard-nosed, physical game. A big ten title is possible, and they have a huge week ahead with games against Wisconsin and Indiana.
The Badgers were 7-1 in January, and a Big Ten Championship is firmly in their grasp. The Badgers have a titanic matchup at Illinois this week.
