It is the best time of the years for College Basketball, it’s March, which leads us to the Madness and the most remarkable sporting event to bet on! Everybody fills out a bracket for the office pool, but why not bet on the games to make it even more exciting? Betting on the NCAA Tournament is made easier if you check out our list of best bookmakers!
The Madness began with the first four and heads right into the most incredible weekend in sports, as the first and second-round games are played Thursday-Sunday. The most exciting part is picking the upsets, and the great thing about the Grueling Truth is that we are to help you select all of the upsets!
Know the number one thing to consider in all of this is where is the best place to bet your money. Many choices exist today, and you don’t have to worry about finding the best site to bet the games because we have already done the heavy lifting for you. We went through tons of sites during the season and tried them out, and we have rated the top 5 sportsbooks to bet at; that list follows.
I love Caesar’s sportsbooks, and they are simply the best there is in the industry! How long does it take for Caesars Sportsbook to payout? Most Caesars Sportsbook withdrawals are processed within 24 hours upon account verification but can sometimes take 48 hours if additional proofs are requested. In my experience, this almost always gets done in one business day! The customer service is always top-notch. The app is easy to use and is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Caesar’s has been my go-to ever since I started using it a month ago. I love this site.
When I dealt with Fan Duel, I requested to be paid by check to change it up a bit, and I figured it would take a week or two to get paid. I was pleasantly surprised when, just four days later, I had a check in my hand! Fan Duel is the site I have bet games on the longest, which is three years, and I have never had a significant issue with the site. The customer service is top-notch, and somebody is always ready and willing to help with all of your needs.
Unibet, a famous European gaming giant that has already launched in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, offers players a variety of cashier options. Some options allow you to receive your money instantly, while others take several days to process. PayPal withdrawals are limited only to users who used PayPal to make their deposits. The site does not currently allow you to withdraw funds via a check. According to Unibet, bank transfer withdrawals may take up to 5 business days. Neteller withdrawals may take up to 3 business days. PayPal withdrawals can take up to 3 business days. You have to make sure that you are withdrawing your money the right way using uni bet, but they are the quickest European option for sports betting. This site, to me, was surprisingly good, I say surprisingly good because I was worried about how long it would take to payout, but I was worried about nothing as they are on top of things at uni bet!
Bet MGM is probably the sportsbook I have used the least since I just signed up a few weeks ago with them. The customer service is solid, and I had no huge issues! You can use your PayPal account to make a deposit using your PayPal Cash and PayPal Cash Plus account balance. You can also withdraw from your casino account straight to your PayPal account. It’s an efficient and secure way to make a deposit and withdraw your winnings. I don’t think the site was as easy to navigate as the others, but I would have no issue recommending this site.
Draft Kings is a solid site also, and I would have no issue trusting the folks at Draft Kings with my money! The DraftKings withdrawal time depends upon the withdrawal option you select. The quickest option is cash from the casino cage, but you will also be paid out very quickly via Play+ or PayPal. An ACH transfer takes roughly five days to arrive, whereas a mailed check can take around two weeks.
When you bet the spread, you’re betting on a team’s margin of victory or defeat. So, if you bet on the favorite (indicated by the “-“), they have to win by more than the number shown. If you bet on the underdog (“+”), they have to win outright or lose by less than the number shown.
Example: If you bet on the Duke Blue Devils -4 option, the Blue Devils would have to win by more than 4 points for your bet to cover. If you bet on the Kentucky +4 option, the Cats would have to either win outright or lose by less than 4. If the Blue Devils beat the Wildcats by precisely 4, then it’s a push, meaning all stakes are refunded.
Top sportsbook providers!
A Moneyline is a bet on which team will win a game outright. So you don’t have to win by such and such points. It’s just a straight-out win or loss situation.
Example: Duke -190 to beat Kentucky, while the Wildcats are +160 to win. If you think the Blue Devils will win the game, you would have to wager $190 to potentially win $100 (or wager $19 to win $10). Conversely, if you think the underdog, Wildcats, will win, you would wager $100 to potentially win $160 (or $10 to win $16).
A total, or over/under, is a bet on the total amount of points scored in a game by both teams combined. A bet on the over means that both teams combined must score more than the number shown, whereas a bet on the under means that they must score less than the number shown.
Example: Duke vs Kentucky total is 158 points. If you think the game’s total score will be more than 158, you would bet the over and would have to wager $110 to win $100 potentially.
This is my favorite way to bet in March! A parlay is a bet that combines two or more selections into one larger bet. For a parlay to be successful, each of the individual legs (or choices) must win.
Example: You want to bet the spread for Duke vs Kentucky, Indiana vs North Carolina, and Murray State vs Tennessee games. If you’re confident in all your bets, you can combine them into a parlay for a higher potential payout.
In the event of a tie in one of the selections in a parlay, would remove that game from the parlay, and the odds would adjust the odds accordingly. So you would have a two-team parlay.
