Lofton Jr. played a significant role in Louisiana Tech’s offense. Lofton Jr. is not a big man, but he has shown that he can stretch the defense just as well as backing down someone in the post. Adonis Arms–Denver Nuggets
Adonis Arms, a combo guard from Texas Tech, is one of the most intriguing players who was not drafted. After transferring from Winthrop to Texas Tech, he averaged 8.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest. Although these are not impressive numbers, they do show that he has the potential to contribute to the NBA. That alone is why the Nuggets have decided to take a chance on him.
Arms has a better chance than other undrafted rookies of making it on a roster. The Denver Nuggets have had a difficult time with injuries in the past two seasons. They are a serious contender when they are healthy. Denver will want to ensure their depth after the loss of Jamal Murray Jr. and Michael Porter Jr. last season. Although Arms is not a player who can fill the stat sheet, he is in a position where he will be able to contribute consistently night in and day out. Adonis Arms is a player who wants to prove his doubters wrong, and the Nuggets may be able to give him that chance.
Justin Lewis-Chicago Bulls (SF/PF
The Chicago Bulls might have grabbed the undrafted rookie pool’s steal with Justin Lewis, their new two-way player. He will split his time this season between the G-League team and the active roster, as he is on a 2-way deal.
Already, he is a star in the Summer League. Marquette’s product has a 7-foot wingspan, which gives him great potential in the three spot. This would solve a few needs for the Chicago Bulls. They will also have more depth on their bench. Although Lewis is not the most offensively polished player on the team, he has the versatility to give the team options for small-ball. Keep all this in mind, and Justin Lewis will be making a splash among all the undrafted rookies this year.
