Villanova has one of the best backcourts in the country, the group will be led by Collin Gillespie and Justin Moore. Both players led the Wildcats in scoring with over 15 points per night while spending over 33 minutes on the floor. The Wildcats are an experienced team but could struggle with teams with big athletic front-courts. The Blue Hens are led by junior guard Jameer Nelson Jr. The unquestioned leader for the team, Nelson is averaging 13.7 points, 2.2 assists, and five rebounds per game. The Hens have been hot and they are a balanced team on offense but they don’t have the guns to get this done. Villanova 77 Blue Hens 58
The Volunteers knocked off Arizona, LSU, Kentucky, Auburn, and Arkansas. Along with this, they also captured the SEC championship after defeating Texas A&M in the final. In my opinion, the Volunteers should have been seeded higher than number three. The Vols are as talented as any team in the Nation. Longwood can shoot the three-pointer led by the duo of Justin Hill and Deshaun Wade. The three-ball could keep the Lancers in the game for a while but Tennessee prevails. Tread lightly with this point spread. Vols 85 Lancers 67
The Mocs have a scary backcourt in Guard Malachi Smith and David Jean-Baptiste are two of their better backcourt mates in the tournament. The Illini struggled to end the season and I really like Chatanooga to at least cover the spread. Mocs 70 Illini 69
I know the Cougars lost some important pieces a few months ago but this team was screwed with a 5 seed! The Coogs are better than that and they will prove it by pounding a good UAB squad! Cougars 79 Blazers 65
The Wolverines are a talented team but they are hard to read because of their inconsistency. The Rams, on the other hand, have been consistent all year long led by David Roddy, the junior will likely hear his name called on NBA draft night in April. He is averaging 19.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. The big question here will be which Michigan team shows up? I like Colorado State here in a small upset. Rams 66 Wolverines 64

The Ramblers and sister Jean are Back! That might be bad news for a Buckeyes team that has struggled through the end of the season. The Ramblers are superb on defense and well-rounded on offense. Ramblers 65 Buckeyes 62
The Pirates started the year off hot and then quickly came back to earth after those first ten games. They got the ship righted though and with a strong backcourt of duo, Jared Rhoden and Myles Cale, the Pirates have the ability to make some noise. TCU has a strong backcourt also and this game should be razor-close. TCU 68 Seton Hall 67
