A little over a month ago, the Tigers were ranked number one, but a slump has got them back off the number one seed line. Jacksonville State ranked fifth in the country with a 38.8 per cent shooting percentage from behind the arc. Demaree King (46.2 per cent) and Jalen Gibbs (40.1 per cent) are their top shooters from three-point range, while King is the second-best three-point shooter in the nation this season. If the Jacksonville State shooters are on, they will keep this relatively close for a half, and then I expect the Tigers to pull away in the second half.

Wisconsin has issues shooting the ball, and even though they had a tremendous regular season, that shooting will become an issue during this tournament. Colgate is one of the hottest teams entering this tournament, winning 15 straight games. Colgate is led by Nelly Cummings, who has put up 14.5 points per game. Colgate’s scoring alone will keep them in the game, and if they get hot, they will pull off the upset.

Both teams are red-hot, Keegan Murray is almost unstoppable on the offensive end, and Iowa is loaded with shooters. Richmond got hot and won their conference tournament with an upset of Davidson. Iowa has too much firepower and will pull this game out in the second half. Bet Richmond to cover the spread, but Iowa wins the game.

This is an excellent matchup between two of the best defensive teams in the country.
