Auburn -15.5 over Jacksonville State
A little over a month ago, the Tigers were ranked number one, but a slump has got them back off the number one seed line. Jacksonville State ranked fifth in the country with a 38.8 per cent shooting percentage from behind the arc. Demaree King (46.2 per cent) and Jalen Gibbs (40.1 per cent) are their top shooters from three-point range, while King is the second-best three-point shooter in the nation this season. If the Jacksonville State shooters are on, they will keep this relatively close for a half, and then I expect the Tigers to pull away in the second half.
Auburn 84 Jacksonville State 67
Wisconsin -7.5 over Colgate
Wisconsin has issues shooting the ball, and even though they had a tremendous regular season, that shooting will become an issue during this tournament. Colgate is one of the hottest teams entering this tournament, winning 15 straight games. Colgate is led by Nelly Cummings, who has put up 14.5 points per game. Colgate’s scoring alone will keep them in the game, and if they get hot, they will pull off the upset.

Providence -2 over South Dakota State
This is a trendy upset pick around the nation as South Dakota State is hot, but Ed Cooley’s Friars have been consistently good all year long, mainly because of the defence. Defense will be the difference in this game. Find the

Friars 72 Jack Rabbits 65
Iowa -10.5 over Richmond
Both teams are red-hot, Keegan Murray is almost unstoppable on the offensive end, and Iowa is loaded with shooters. Richmond got hot and won their conference tournament with an upset of Davidson. Iowa has too much firepower and will pull this game out in the second half. Bet Richmond to cover the spread, but Iowa wins the game.
Iowa 87 Richmond 79
LSU -4 over Iowa State
The difference in this game should be defense, and that goes to LSU. The Cyclones have been in a tail-spin of late, and LSU just fired their head coach Will Wade. Take the talent and defense of the Tigers!
LSU 72 Iowa State 65
USC -1.5 over Miami
USC started the season 13-0 and has cooled off significantly since then. Miami is sneaky good and has played some of the best teams in the country tough. This is a challenging game to call, but I am taking the Canes.
Hurricanes 73 Trojans 70

San Diego State -2 over Creighton
This is an excellent matchup between two of the best defensive teams in the country. San Diego State comes in having won 11 of their last 13 games, including a 63-58 win over Colorado State in the Mountain West semifinals. Creighton will be without the Big East Freshman of the Year in Ryan Nembhard, and that will be the difference in this game.
