Keep in mind these are two teams in the top 25 in NET in the country. This isn’t just a mid-major matchup. Both of these teams can make a run in this tournament, and this game is so even it’s hard to pick. The Dons have played in the more challenging conference and are more battle-tested than Murray State. I know the Racers are the popular pick around the country, but I take the Dons to cover.

The Zips’ claim to fame is almost beating Ohio State at the beginning of the season. The Bruins have most of last season’s final four teams back intact. The Bruins are just too strong for the zips in this one, take the Zips and the points but the Bruins will get the win.

Yale is nowhere near Purdue in talent or anything else for that matter. Yale should be seeded even lower than what they are. This will be quick and easy for Purdue.

This game will be a razor-close decision, and I think the difference will be Race Thompson and Trace Jackson Davis inside and with Xavier Johnson running the offense, the Hoosiers get the win.
