After winning his first Cy Young award and posting a 1.90 ERA in ’97 with the Montreal Expos, the team dealt him for some stupid reason to the Boston Red Sox for Carl Pavano and Tony Armas Jr. He went on to win the Cy Young again in 1998, finished second in 1999. In 1999 he helped lead the Red Sox to the playoffs.
