There are still two months to go in the 2022 Major League Baseball regular season. This month, some serious injuries were announced. Seven players had respectable seasons in 2022 but will not return for the remainder of the season due to various illnesses. Check out the best bookmakers for betting on Baseball.

Danny Coulombe

In 10 games with the Minnesota Twins, Coulombe, a southpaw reliever from St. Louis, had an earned run average (ERA) of 1.46. Coulombe gave up only two earned runs over 12 1/3 innings. He also had nine strikeouts, nine walks and a WHIP of 1.30. On Wednesday, he had his season-ending hip surgery. Coulombe hadn’t pitched since May 27. However, he was very effective in the first two months.

His on-base percentage was.276, while his slugging percentage was.401. Duvall was the National League’s top hitter last season with 113 runs batted-in. After he tried to catch a foulball, Duvall broke his wrist and jammed it against the wall. This was in the 7-2 victory Braves over Los Angeles Angels.

Mitch Garver

The Texas Rangers’ catcher from Albuquerque batted.207. He had 10 home runs and 24 RBIs. His flexor tendon was operated on. Garver had 188 at-bats and scored 23 runs. He also had 39 hits, seven doubles and 23 walks. There were 76 total bases. His on-base percentage was.298, his slugging percentage was.404.

Kevin Kiermaier

Fort Wayne, Indiana’s centerfielder batted.228 and had seven home runs. He also batted in 22 runs with the Tampa Bay Rays. Kiermaier had 206 hits and scored 28 runs. He also had six stolen bases and 14 walks. His on-base percentage was.281 while his slugging percentage was.369. Kiermaier sustained a hip injury.

Michael King

This right-hander from Rochester, New York, had six wins, three losses, and one save. He earned an earned run average (2.29) in 34 games this season for the New York Yankees. King suffered a season-ending elbow injury in a 7-6 Yankees victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Tanner Rainey

Right-handed closer Rainey pitched 29 games, with a record of 1 win and 3 losses. He also had 12 saves and an average earned run of 3.30 with the Washington Nationals. Rainey allowed 26 hits, 11 earned runs, 13 walks, and 30 innings. He also had 36 strikeouts and a WHIP 1.30. Rainey suffered an elbow sprain.
