In 10 games with the Minnesota Twins, Coulombe, a southpaw reliever from St. Louis, had an earned run average (ERA) of 1.46. Coulombe gave up only two earned runs over 12 1/3 innings. He also had nine strikeouts, nine walks and a WHIP of 1.30. On Wednesday, he had his season-ending hip surgery. Coulombe hadn’t pitched since May 27.
