The most thrilling round of the night will likely be between Ronald Acuna Jr. and Pete Alonso. Acuna and Alonso have had a lot of success in Home Run Derby. They can both hit home runs at an elite level.
Alonso is the current favorite to win this round. Alonso has been one of the best hitters in baseball for the first half of the season and has won the previous two Home Run Derbys. Alonso has had a lot of success in this setting, but Ronald Acuna is the man who will likely beat him.
I believe that Ronald Acuna Jr. could win the whole thing. I think the winner of this round will win the event.

Kyle Schwarber Vs Albert Pujols
Albert Pujols was invited because this will likely be his last season in the MLB. Although he has confirmed it a few times, we don’t know what the future holds for some players. Kyle Schwarber is an excellent home run hitter, and Pujols does not have the same kind of juice as he did in his youth.
Although Pujols may be the greatest right-handed hitter, this game has seen Schwarber as an elite left-handed batter and will likely be able to win this round. He has 29 home runs this season and has a real chance to win this event.

Julio Rodriguez Vs Corey Seager
Julio Rodriguez, the likely American League rookie of the year, will be facing Corey Seager, a star-studded lefthanded shortstop. Corey Seager has shown that he is the player everyone expected him to become after a difficult start to the 2022 season. He has already hit 22 home runs this season. This is four more than his season-high.
Seager is one of those guys who never stops moving. There’s a chance that Seager can win the whole thing if he gets locked in tonight. Julio Rodriguez will be tough to beat. The 21-year-old has already hit 16 home runs this season.

The two best hitters in baseball, Jose Ramirez and Juan Soto, will be competing in this round. Jose Ramirez may be better, but Juan Soto has incredible power that could prove to be of help. Soto is familiar with the Home Run Derby and may be able to win this one. Soto is a great all-around hitter.
