Cubs announce broadcast schedules for Spring Training and Regular Season Games for 2019
Nearly every Chicago Cubs Spring Training game will be available to Cubs fans via television, radio or internet radio broadcast as the club announced its 2019 Spring Training broadcast schedule on Tuesday.
In total, a Cubs game will be available every game day of the spring schedule via one or more broadcast mediums, and 32 of the 34 games are scheduled to be available to Cubs fans overall.
The schedule features six games televised by Cubs broadcast partners (four by WGN-TV and two by NBC Sports Chicago), 10 on the 670 The Score Cubs Radio Network and 22 via internet radio broadcast onย www.cubs.com.ย Fans will be able to access the Cubs Webcasts onย Cubs.comย andย MLB.comย for free by registering for a log-in account with the website.
670 The Score will air its first game on Saturday, Feb. 23, the clubโs season opener at Sloan Park, when the Cubs play the Milwaukee Brewers.ย Pat Hughesย andย Ron Coomerย return as the radio voices of the Chicago Cubs.ย WGN-TV will televise its first game when the Cubs host the Brewers on March 2.ย Len Kasperย andย Jim Deshaiesย return to call all Cubs TV games.ย NBC Sports Chicagoโs first game will occur on March 17, when the Cubs host the Colorado Rockies.
Kasper will again joinย Mick Gillispie, radio broadcaster for the Cubsโ Double-A Tennessee affiliate, for most of theย cubs.comย internet radio broadcasts.
All games start at 1:05pm Arizona time unless otherwise noted.ย Chicago is one hour ahead of Arizona through Saturday, March 9 before moving to two hours ahead on Sunday, March 10.

The Cubs also announced on Tuesday the teamโsr 2019 regular season television schedule featuring broadcasts from NBC Sports Chicago, WGN-TV and WLS-TV/ABC 7.
WGN-TV will televise the clubโs season opener on Thursday, March 28 at Texas at 3:05pm CDT.ย NBC Sports Chicagoโs first broadcast is on Saturday, March 30 at Texas at 7:05pm CDT while WLS-TV/ABC 7 has its first broadcast, the Wrigley Field home opener, on Monday, April 8 vs. Pittsburgh at 1:20pm CDT.
In 2019, NBC Sports Chicago will televise as many as 83 Cubs games, WGN-TV will broadcast 45 games and WLS-TV/ABC 7 has 25 games.
Cubs games have been on WGN since 1948, with this year marking the stationโs 72nd season televising Cubs baseball.ย This will be NBC Sports Chicagoโs 15th season televising the Cubs and the fifth for WLS-TV/ABC 7.
In addition, all 162 games will be available on radio via 670 The Score as the station enters its fourth season as the official Cubs Radio Network.
Len Kasperย returns for his 15th season in the Cubsโ television booth and will be joined byย Jim Deshaiesย for their seventh season together broadcasting Cubs baseball.
