Arizona boasts plenty of offensive weapons and averages 5.7 runs per game, while San Francisco has struggled on offense this year; I don’t anticipate much difficulty with Nelson-based on San Francisco scoring three or fewer runs eight of twelve times and slashing.233/.307/.370/.677 against right-handed pitchers this year.
Webb may be more famous, but Nelson should more than hold his own tonight. With early run support backing him up, I think Nelson should last long enough for his tired bullpen to rest up and recover.
