Jon Adams, better known as Candid Hoosier, is an Indiana sports commentator, former high school football coach and experience as a basketball coach. Candid is an emerging sports commentator writer and podcaster who brings a coach’s perspective to the discussion surrounding Indiana University athletics and the broader world of college sports.

With experience coaching high school football and basketball, Candid Hoosier approaches sports through the lens of preparation, scheme, player development, leadership, culture and execution—not simply the final score. That background provides a unique perspective when breaking down Indiana football and basketball, evaluating coaching decisions, discussing player performance and identifying the details that can determine the outcome of a game.

While Indiana University athletics is at the heart of Candid Hoosier, the conversation extends well beyond Bloomington.
